Cecil Balmond was chosen as the leading designer for the exhibition The Hidden Order as part of the ‘Frontiers of Architecture’ series at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Denmark, in 2007. Outlining Balmond’s sources of inspiration, the exhibition exposed the systemic and aesthetic principles that lie behind his vision using models, hand-drawn sketches and interactive materials.  The exhibition had the feel of an artist’s laboratory where inventions and concepts begin to take shape in space and time.
