Quartz is a new generation of prefabricated, modular housing. Its structural integrity is derived from the fundamental building blocks of quartz crystals. Like a crystal, it can grow in repeat modules in any four directions. The basic polyhedral 3D unit shape can pack into itself and extend in linear directions, meaning it can form rows or be stacked one upon another as in a high rise. Quartz can also be packed into one container, making it easily deployed and rapidly erected in disaster zones for emergency shelter.
